VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR 2008: Joyce Cofer!
Joyce Cofer has been married to Louis Cofer (another fine food bank volunteer) for nearly 50 years! She has two children and four precious grandchildren. Joyce retired from Lincoln Trail Elementary where she worked as an Attendance Office Clerk for many years. Joyce has not slowed down one bit since retiring. She volunteered for about four years at Hardin Memorial Hospital and has served at our food bank for several years alongside her devoted husband and our adhoc driver, Louis Cofer. We appreciate Joyce for all the hours she has volunteered and the many miles she has traveled for Feeding America, Kentucky's Heartland! She is truly deserving of this great honor.
