GRAYSON COUNTY ALLIANCE    

Grayson County Alliance (Leitchfield), formed in July 2000 to help low income residents of Grayson County. The Alliance has many services/programs available to their community, including: food pantry, prescription project, transportation  program, Repair Affair, and a volunteer program.                   

      The Alliance works closely with all Grayson Co. community service organizations to insure eligible families receive all services available to them.  The Alliance joined Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland in Feb. 2001; to date, the organization has received nearly 2 million pounds of food and grocery products from FAKH to distribute to the Grayson County area. At present, the Alliance provides services to approximately 1000 families per month.
